起重機械，是指用于垂直升降或者垂直升降并水平移動重物的機電設備，其范圍規定為額定起重量大于或者等于0.5t的升降機；額定起重量大于或者等于3t（或額定起重力矩大于或者等于40t·m的塔式起重機，或生產率大于或者等于300t/h的裝卸橋），且提升高度大于或者等于2m的起重機；層數大于或者等于2層的機械式停車設備。
　　根據(ju)國家質檢總(zong)局(ju)頒(ban)布的《特種(zhong)設(she)備目錄(lu)》，起(qi)(qi)(qi)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)機(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)械(xie)分為：橋式起(qi)(qi)(qi)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)機(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)、門(men)(men)式起(qi)(qi)(qi)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)機(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)、塔式起(qi)(qi)(qi)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)機(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)、流動(dong)式起(qi)(qi)(qi)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)機(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)、門(men)(men)座式起(qi)(qi)(qi)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)機(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)、升降機(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)、纜索式起(qi)(qi)(qi)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)機(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)、桅桿式起(qi)(qi)(qi)重(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)(zhong)機(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)、機(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)械(xie)式停車設(she)備。

　　According to the Catalogue of Special Equipment issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China, lifting machinery is divided into: bridge crane, gantry crane, tower crane, mobile crane, gantry crane, elevator, cable crane, mast crane, and mechanical parking equipment.
